Thirumathi Selvam

Sivagami amma and Jeyanthy comes from temple, on their way home, notice a man with sudden seizure attack.  Sivagami rans to him, and hands over the house key to his hand to control the seizure, a cobbler sitting nearby,  who  is noting all this but didn’t bother to come or help. Sivagami asking him why he is not bothered when a person suffers like this, for whichthe  man replies saying this guy sells kanja, so if anyone helps him endup in problems. Jeyanthy was so uncomfortable to hear this, she tried to persuade Sivagami to move from there, but Sivagami scolds her and says he is like her son. He gets up and thanks Sivagami for the help. She in return gives him some advise and ask why is he doing this kind of job. Because of his job, everyone is reluctant to help him. He tells her is an orphan and because of hunger he had to do this kind of job. Sivagami gives him some advice and leaves. The man looks at her.

In the shed, Selvam, Kuppan and Rangan are working at the shed, Archana cames hurriedly, she is so upset as poonga didn’t return home after the incident, selvam carelessly said, he will come on his own, after the money in his hand runs out, archana not happy with this answer..kuppan interuped the talk and said, he didn’t think poonga stolen the ear rings, as he yesterday saw vasu was on the pawn shop and sold the ear rings and he told it was his wife’s.  Now selvam and others get things very clear, selvam went outside to search for his dad, He went and asked poonga’s friends, but they too didn’t have a clue, and they all decided to go separately and search for poonga, selvam keep on searching.  After some time one of poonga’s friend called, and informed poonga, fainted near a bus stop, selvam rushed there, and both takes poonga to a medical clinic.  Poonga opened his eyes, doctor gives him a jab and selvam asked for medicine prescribtion, doctor wrote something on the paper and gives him. Pongga’s friend grabs it saying he will go to farmacy and get the medicine. Doctor says this cannot be bought in farmacy but the restaurant opposite. Selvam is confused and takes the paper only to see food item’s name were written &  selvam shocked is to see that. doctor says poonga didn;t eat for long, that’s why his BP ran down and he fainted.

selvam felt really bad, and asked poonga to forgive him, poonga said, he didn’t bother about any one else’s accusations, but selvam and archana too didn’t believe him, he couldn’t stand that.  Selvam felt even more bad, he consoles poonga and told he was wrong to suspect his father, poonga wonders,yesterday selvam didn’t believe him, but today how come he believes suddenly, selvam hesitated and told, kuppan told, that he saw vasu sold the ear rings at the shop, poonga was so angry and he wanted to confront vasu, but selvam stopped him, and asked him  not to do so for revathy;s sake.  As she will be completely heart broken, if she heard this. Poonga see the niyayam in it, but both dad and son are so angry and upset with vasu.
